We launched the new Peacful Sky Alliance website in November of 2009. In just a few short months peacefulskyalliance.org monthly visitors surpassed 3,000 with the month of March 2010 at 3,927 and April already set to break the 4,000 monthly visitor marker.

George Na’ope, 81, dies
Uncle George Na'ope was one of the Big Island's premier kumu hula who maintained close ties with avid hula students in Japan. George Na’ope was small in stature — an early nickname was “Menehune” — but a giant of hula and Hawaiian culture.
“Uncle George,” a revered kumu hula, singer, dancer, chanter, and a co-founder of the Merrie Monarch Festival, died Monday of cancer in his Waiakea Uka home.

I personally have used all of the above mentioned websites for local searches and will continue to do so for a long time. To me the phone book is a thing of the past. It just takes up space in my already cluttered life…not to mention a huge waste of paper.
With more and more people using these types of searches daily you can no longer afford not to have a website. These local listing services are free and can provide any local business with a good source of additional exposure and sales.
